How many of you find yourself in this situation. Sitting down on your laptop, enjoying a good Youtube video when all of a sudden 5 minutes in, your screen turns off or dims. Totally ruining your watching groove, you quickly mash some keys or ravish your trackpad to turn it back on. Then you have to rewind back to where you were before the screen cut off. Well, no more, here’s Caffeine to keep your Macbook wide awake.
It’s a small little icon that sits on your menu bar that looks like an expresso cup. To keep your Mac awake, just click on the coffee cup, and voila! it’s filled with coffee, and your Mac will no longer sleep. Don’t worry about keeping your Mac up permanently, if you close your lid of your Macbook, it’ll still go into standby. Wonderful!
